This hike Ty and I stayed back at the campground. Shawn and the girls left the site at 8am telling me the hike was to take only 2 hours...Well...the time was almost 2:30 when I really started to worry and took Ty to a pay phone to call them when they magically appeared back at the campground. The hike was treacherous and took alot longer than what they had anticipated. They started there hike on one side of lake Geraldine where they walked all around it to a secluded spot where the only markers were inukshuks (which were hard to spot and if you didn't know this is what you were to look for). Then they hiked up the side of a waterfall that was gorgeous....Very fast moving water and very dangerous. Only 2 mishaps along the way. One with Shawn on the side of the waterfall...(telling the girls to watch their step, when he falls and manages to catch himself before tragedy) and Kristen apparently on the end of the hike needing to be bandaged up. She tripped and had a really good fall and banged her leg up pretty good. They saw deer and a marmot on this hike.
