Animals we came across on our trip

This is a PIKA (very rare) and are found in colder areas of the mountains.

Deer...we saw a ton of these...(I know we see them in Manitoba too)

Moose...rare to see and wasn't bothered at all by the many people snapping pictures. Of course the Chinese people attempt to get way to close for my comfort.
Elk...not so rare. We saw Elk almost everytime we left or came back to our campsite in Johnston Canyon. They don't get too spooked by all the commotion.

Here is a video of a Black Bear we came across. We also saw a black bear on our first hike (Cory's Pass) and when we went to Golden, BC. This was such an awesome site. I also have a video of a Timber Wolf, but it takes so long to load. Another rare site. We saw every animal we could including the marmot. The only animal we didn't see was the big horn sheep. Maybe next time.
