Amy's Birthday

First night in Edmonton we took Amy to "Jungle Jim's" on Bourbon street in the mall. The food was fantastic considering up until now we have been eating campground food. They sang and brought Amy a piece of spectacular chocolate cake and yes we embarrassed her. Amy was so embarrassed she even cried. My little girl is 13. Wow!
This night there was a massive storm that hit Alberta from Edmonton to Calgary. 2 people died including 1 close to Edmonton. I'm glad I convinced Shawn to get a hotel for the night as we had no clue it was to storm like this. On our way to the mall we witnessed the strength of the storm as it literally blew our van over the road 2 car lengths over and we saw the clouds circling as though a tornado would spawn from them at any moment. On our way back to the hotel we saw what the storm did to Edmonton and all the trees that were either blown over or struck by lightening.
