Kristen had a Scavenger Hunt birthday. She had the following girls over: Erica, Jillian, Haley, Amy, Carolina, Marina, Tia, Sydney, Brookelle, Brittney & Gina. They started off at the Park where they had to do various tasks in 2 groups. They competed against each other and the clock. A few of the events were to make a fire and cook an egg, put together a fishing rod to retrieve and item out of the duck pond, climb a tower and eat either a sardine or an olive. Surprisingly, the majority of the girls didn't eat anything, but when they did they chose to eat the sardine over the olive. Weird, I know. Then we went to Miller gym where the kids played Gorgons and had a blast. That's a game you play in a gym completely dark and the goal of the game is to put together a flashlight without the gorgon finding you. The whole point of the game is to be super quiet so the Gorgon can't find you. 12 girls including Kristen....was almost impossible to keep quiet. They had a blast. Then we ate some chicken and pizza and yummy blue jean cake that Kristen's daddy made. We also made a craft which was a purse that was put together by duck tape and staples. The girls loved them. Kristen was very happy to have all her friends surrounding her with love and laughter. Thanks to everyone for coming and all the gifts. With the money she received, Kristen bought her very first I-Pod.
