Ty's Birthday Party in the Park

Ty's Birthday went without a hitch. We started off playing at the playground. The kids had a great time. Then onto making finger puppets. Again, I think the kids enjoyed this activity. The matching game was a huge hit with Meadow. She couldn't get enough of it. Long after the kids went on to other things, Meadow would be seen at the matching game. (The kids had to stick there hands in a pail of soapy water with 6 colored sandles in the pail. Once they found them they had to hang it on a hook on the corresponding color on the board.) We had a Diego pinata...Most of the kids were ok...Meadow was not ok with hitting Diego...Brookelynn wasn't sure, until her mom helped her out...Oakley hesitated but soon got into the spirit. Silas was ready and willing...Paige again was ok with it, just didn't have the umph needed to break it. Peyton and Ty tried there best. Ty had a really hard swing...A little scary at times. It ended up breaking after Amy got a hold of the stick. The kids new when the candy fell exactly what to do.. No prompting needed by any of us parents. We had a Kung Fu Panda cake made by our neighbor lady.. She did a fabulous job. We had the kids take a group picture. Oakley refused to look at the camera until we said ..."make a crazy face"...He got right in on that one. Ty went through the presents with a bolt of lighting. No holds barred on that one. I hardly had time to snap a picture. He loved everything. Thanks everyone for making a Ty's birthday a very Happy Day.

I think the highlight of my girls day was the chance to hold Caybree. I even got to hold her. She is such a sweat heart. Thanks Megan."BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231962610207938578"
