Bare with me as I will do a brief description of Amy's 12th Survivor Birthday Party...It began with the girls choosing a buff of a certain color (blue or pink) to determine which team they were on. Then they were given a flag in which they had 20 minutes to come up with a name for there team and to paint it on there flag. So we had POKO and ZANITOOS. They then immediately began there game. The first event was a question game where they had an A B or C choice. One of the girls would read from a survivor game card and the other girls would have to answer A, B or C. Then the girl at the front would reveal her answer. This was done with each girl having a set of flash cards. Zanitoos won this event. Second event was a blind folded relay. 1 girl from each team started the relay off. The rest of the team mates were up on the deck trying to talk the girl on the ground through the obsticle. This was hilarious. First they had to navigate to a bucket of ice and find a marble with there foot and place into a bowl. Then get to another bucket which was filled with cooked spaghetti and soap suds to find a colored key chain and place on a board with the corresponding color and then navigate back through a course to the deck and hand off. Third event was an eating event. The girls had to go against each other. The food consisted of poop (shaped nutella), eyeball (jello jiggler with a peeled grape inside it), brain (oatmeal bar with red food coloring drizzled over it) and 100 year old chicken eggs (peeled hard boiled egg that was soaked in green food coloring). Only 1 girl opted out on this one....too bad Ashley the egg tasted great. Fourth event the girls were given 15 minutes to decorate a tin can with a picture of themselves and there name on it. They then had to try and hit another teams can off a platform with a slingshot. This took a lot longer than expected. I guess it's harder to use a slingshot than I thought. Fifth even was a team race at Elmwood where we filled a cooler of sand that the girls had to carry through an obstacle course. The cooler could not touch the ground. Throughout all these events the girls were competing for an immunity idol. They also as a team got tokens that were to help them for supper. Supper was a sweet and sour pork dish served in hollowed out and halved real coconuts. The girls loved it. The token they needed to get was a utensil so they could eat with a fork or chop sticks, otherwise it was with your hands. Amy tried to eat with chopsticks and soon gave up to eat with her hands as you all could see. For desert a Survivor cake....YUM! Amy got wonderful gifts from all her friends. Thanks everyone. It was lots of fun and hard work but I think the girls all had a really good time.
