Swimming Lessons

Amy was enrolled in level 9 this year, but managed to pass both levels 9 & 10. Congratulations. Wow...this means Bronze Medallion next year. Kristen (no photo available...Mom, please forward me the pic) passed her level 8 this year. She not only passed with flying colors in her class but helped out her brother in his class. Thanks big SIS! And of course Ty...Well he passed his Sea Turtle level...However, he spent little time with his group in the shallow end. His instructor, Stephan and Kristen spent most of the time in the deep end...Jumping off the diving board, off the side, down the big slide, and pretty much all his floats with and without the life jacket on....All by himself. I can pretty much tell you that Ty is a fish...and beats to his own drum as far as when he has his mind set to something, he does it. It was all in all a very cold time for swimming and so we ended up getting Ty a wetsuit which allowed him to enjoy the time in the water. Money well spent.
